In Sinan Baştürk’s project study, a monorail, electric chain hoist, vacuum lifting frame and PLC control were considered together to transfer 1500 × 3000 mm steel sheets between pallets.
The aim was to plan single sheet gripping, reduced load sway and accurate positioning. The structural revision remains at preliminary design stage.
